This is a one-time award presented annually in the amount of $2000.  The number of students will vary dependent upon funds available. Financial need is considered, however, all are encouraged to apply. Assisting others in making their dream of attending a college or university a reality, is the main goal of the scholarship committee.  Finalists will be chosen on May 15, 2018.

The Committee, in making scholarships available, does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, creed, gender, sexual orientation, handicap or national/ethnic origin. Directors and volunteers with Each One, Reach One and Divas Making a Difference (current or former) of the Evelyn Poythress Jones Memorial Scholarship, or any member of the family of any such directors, volunteers are ineligible to receive awards from the Committee.
